Trauma Intensives with
Erin Sprong Murrell, LMFT
Erin Sprong Murrell is a systemic therapist specializing in trauma, ADHD/ASD, and relationship crisis. Her work focuses on understanding how early experiences, neurodiversity, and stress shape emotional and relational patterns in adulthood. Erin helps individuals and couples move beyond cycles of disconnection, frustration, or self-blame, and toward relationships that feel grounded, safe, and more authentic.
She offers online EMDR therapy to address the root causes of unresolved experiences that often impact life and relationship satisfaction. Trauma can appear in many ways—through anxiety, emotional numbing, hypervigilance, or self-criticism, as well as through patterns of conflict, withdrawal, or difficulty trusting others. Erin helps clients recognize these responses as adaptive strategies formed during overwhelming times and supports them in developing new ways of relating that foster healing and connection.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-supported, effective approach for both single-incident traumas—such as accidents, losses, or medical events—and more complex or chronic experiences, including ongoing stress, childhood adversity, or relational trauma.
Integrating EMDR with a systemic perspective, Erin helps clients understand how the past continues to influence present-day emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Her EMDR intensives offer a focused, immersive format that allows for deeper processing and often more rapid progress than weekly sessions, supporting meaningful healing, emotional growth, and stronger, more secure relationships.
