Trauma Intensives with
Bonnie McKee, LCSW
Welcome! I believe that everyone has the capacity for healing and resilience, and I am committed to supporting people in being able to live a life of growth, empowerment, enjoyment and fulfillment.
I have 25 years of extensive experience helping many people to recover from trauma and build a more fulfilling life. I specialize in helping heterosexual and LGBTQ+ adults of all ages heal from childhood trauma and traumatic life events at any stage of life. I am passionate about creating a safe and compassionate space for clients to learn and use effective therapies to help them heal and recover from trauma.
In my work with Trauma Intensives, I use a combination of evidence-based therapies, including Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping), Matrix Reimprinting Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to address a range of trauma-related issues, such as anxiety, overwhelm, depression, and relationship difficulties.
The effects of untreated trauma can hold us back from living the lives we want to live. As a trauma treatment practitioner, I have consistently seen that clients who work with effective trauma treatment methodologies can experience positive life-changing benefits, including:
Reduced anxiety and stress
Increased feelings of well-being
Reduced PTSD symptoms
Increased calm and relaxation
Enhanced emotional resilience
Decreased emotional reactivity
Increased ability for emotion regulation
More resourceful states of mind
Improvement in the quality of relationships
Increased feelings of self-compassion, self-worth, and self-confidence
Increased ability to change negative, limiting beliefs to more empowering, life-changing positive beliefs
Stronger feelings of self-agency to be able to pursue and accomplish goals
I welcome individuals who are seeking support with trauma-related challenges to reach out
